I encourage healthy debate, even rowdy and bawdy barfights. However, comments in EXTREMELY poor taste and/or regarding someones family, loved ones or uninvolved third parties will be summarilly deleted.
Please keep personal attacks specific to the person you are attacking.
Clif, again, I think that FDR was a good president. He provided strong leadership to the country when we truly needed it. All I said was that he, like every other president, may have made some miscues (ask the Japanese-Americans that he interned if they think that FDR was perfect). That's all. If you don't happen to like that opinion, 3 year old, stuff it!
Rusty, you're being accused of wasting valuable hours of your life imitating Clif. Feel free to address these charges - your accuser, of course, being Clif himself.
Mike accused him over at my site, Clifford. What, can't you read still? And I'm supposed to believe everything YOU say? Give me a break! Hey, maybe it's Bartlebee who's setting you up. Your buddy! LOL
You're still mad about my retort to that disguting smear of McCain on Lydia's blog? The smear that I was the only one to speak out against? The one that Lydia was totally silent about? Wow, Clif. You need some major intervention, bro.
A wild accusation? Come on, if it isn't you, then it's one of the other 2 stooges. An apology? I'll apologize to you when Bartlebee apologizes to me. He accused me of being Frank Frey. Frank frigging Frey, for Christ! Don't hold your breath, in other words.
Oh, and, Voltron, could you please remind Mikester that this "mumbo-jumbo" about tax cuts stimulating the economy originated with JFK. Maybe THAT'LL convince him that tax cuts work. Yes, we had deficits under Reagan and Bush, but that was because the spending continued to accelerate, not because the tax cuts didn't produce more revenue.
YOU SAID, CLIF, that I was being "set up by people that I trust". That's what YOU SAID, CLIF. THOSE are YOUR words, Clif, YOUR accusation, CLIF. What an idiot.
I'm for gays in the military, Clif. I'm for gay marriage, Clif. I'm against preemptive military action, Clif. Are those more examples of "reich wing memes", Clif? Stop extrapolating. You look even more moronic when you do so.
Existentialist Cowboy (Mr. 9/11 conspiracy guy)? No, Clif, he has bigger fish to fry (though, yes, he is extremely paranoiac, too). 1138? Yes, Clif, I believe that he, too, has left me some nasty anonymous comments. But I can definitely differentiate his diatribes from yours. Equally vitriolic but less sexual.
But, Clif, if there is NO relationship between taxation rates and incentive/growth, then we probably could go back to 70, 80, 90% taxation rates on the wealthy, right? I mean, the government knows better how to spend that money than all those stupid rich people, right? RIGHT? And, Clif, just for the record, I DEFENDED Obama on his raising the rates from 35-39% - not that it was necesssarily a good idea to do so but that he wasn't a Communist for doing so. A "moderate" defense, in other words. Face it, Clif, I'm a moderate and you don't like moderates. In fact, I think you hate us MORE that you do conservatives.
As Mike has so astutely stated, disability boy, I have a limited readership. The suspect list is small and, yeah, lunk-head, yo be standing near the top of it, drooling, looking in, etc..
I was referring to Obama's campaign proposal roll back the Bush tax cuts, to take them from 35-39%. I argued that that doesn't make him a socialist. REMEMBER NOW?
"This is a great stimulus bill." "There is no pork in it." Just a couple of the talking points that Lydia's been peddling over there. My God, even the legislators who are supporting it have admitted that it isn't a perfect bill. Talk about a hard-core believer, huh?
I was agnostic, initially. Now I'm against it. I like the parts about improving the electric grid (even Steve Forbes likes that), extending unemployment, some of the infrastructure (please, though, no more roads/bridges to onwhere), stuff like that. But there is just so much of it that is PURE DEBT that it's sickening. Some credit to Collins and Nelson for trying to get at least some of that out.
Sorry, it appears that I may have angered Cliffy. I don't like fighting like that but, unfortunately, that's the way he apparently likes to play. I probably would have done better just ignoring him.
"unpatriotic Republican/Obstructionists who are trying to destroy our country........should be indicted for treason" Nice, huh? And then Bartlebee says that at Gitmo, we're "slicing men's testicles with a scalpel." I'm still waiting for the source on that one.
I don't mean to be partisan on this but this stimulus bill is 1,100 pages long and not a single member of the House or Senate has read it. That scares me. Hell, it should scare everybody. P.S. I want Obama to succeed, Voltron. I just don't think that this is the ticket for him. There's too much junk in this bill and the stuff that is (or might be) good, a lot of that doesn't get spent for another year or two. I'm afraid he's going to start making Bush (who absolutely DID screw things up) look like a piker. Here's to hoping that I'm wrong.
Voltron, I read your comment over at Lydia's. It's sad. That's a place where people could potentially have some interesting political exchanges and dialogue. Unfortunately, though, she's allowed the site to be hijacked by a small band of lunatics who's only goal is to squelch that dialogue. As you can also plainly see, I've retired from commenting (yes, that last head-banging session with Bartlebee was sufficient) there. Though, yes, I'm sure that Bartlebee continues to see me in the words of MCH, Frank Frey, etc.. Talk about an SOB, huh? LOL
Mike, what a stooge that guy is. He constantly says that he's NOT a partisan. But then just tonight he denigrates the entire Republican party for the past 70 years!! No, he's not a partisan.
Volt, I confronted Bart over at Lydia's (about the anonymous quotes, etc.). He proceded to play dumb about it. Or maybe it isn't him. It sure sounded like him, though, didn't it, the prosecutorial style, especially?

Still projecting I see.
Glad you liked it.
My favorite part is where Bart and Mike are going at it, then all of a sudden they stop and notice you sitting all alone in the corner...
Clif sucks moose-cock for Sarah Palin's enjoyment.
Sorry, Voltron, I simply could't resist. Feel free to delete it if you wish.
LOL it's OK Will, You've put up with enough liberal love and tolerance.

I get angry, Clif. But then I get over it.

Another in a long line of stock responses. I guess you can develope a large repertoire of them when in fact you have nothing substantive to offer.
Just tonight, Clif, you said that I was being "set up" by people I trust. You just said it tonight, you idiot!!

And I'm supposed to trust you BECAUSE? I like how you changed the subject back when I busted you. YOU AND MIKE accused Rusty/Voltron.

I was telling Voltron to tell MIKE that, not you. You, as usual, stuck your "I can ride a bike but I can't hold a job" nose into the conversation.
the lord giveth. And the lord taketh away. LOL

I hear ya Will.
Just the other night I was arguing with Bart about it with him defending it.
NOW he doesn't like it. No forcing the banks to loan...
Go figure!

Cliffy can dish it out but he hates to take it.
It looks like he's deleted most of his comments here and at your place.
Maybe a couple at LC's too.
And what if a Republican president had nominated 3 people with tax "problems"? Would not they be going apopleptic over there?

Freedom of speech for me, none for thee. That's their modus operandi over there Will.
As for Barty's statement, perhaps one of the little darlings was in for his annual checkup and grabbed the Dr.s scalpel.
I'll be waiting to hear a report where one of the jihadi's attacked his doctor...
